 SUMMARY: The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures guests' satisfaction by assigning, inspecting and cleaning the guest rooms (as needed) to meet the needs of the day.  This role is responsible for ensuring guest rooms are cleaned in a timely and thorough manner to meet the needs of the hotel's guests staying over and arriving. This important role may also assist in laundry services and guest-requested deliveries. This is a leadership position that requires kindness and consistency to lead our team to success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports the housekeeping team to the successful daily housekeeping operations.  This includes, setting up the day's cleaning assignments, room inspections, laundry and stocking of carts and closets and the cleaning of the hotel public areas.
  • Monitors, controls, inventories and assists in ordering supplies and amenities while minimizing waste within all areas of housekeeping
  • Updates room status in property management system
  • Plans work schedules to ensure adequate service and control of labor costs
  • Motivates employees by creating a pleasant work environment. Establishes pride and emphasizes job importance for guests and employees
  • Ensures all housekeeping staff receive training on established cleaning procedures
  • Observes and coaches housekeeping staff performance to ensure superior services and adherence to established housekeeping procedures
  • Responds promptly and efficiently to guests’ requests
  • Bilingual in Spanish encouraged to apply.
 Shift:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Day shift/5 Days per week
Experience:

  • Cleaning: 3 years (Required)
