Position Overview:

Multimatic Tennessee is seeking a Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift with periodic shift rotation with 1st) to maintain manufacturing equipment and building facilities, and support all preventative maintenance programs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Works with various types of electrical controls, controllers, plant power and circuits. Assist technical services in machine repair, change over, set up and operation as required. Performs all preventative maintenance requirements as scheduled. Have abilities to assemble and disassemble tooling, gauges. Other duties may include, but not limited to, electrical, ventilation, plumbing, carpentry, lighting, welding etc. Ability to schedule time, materials and equipment require to perform tasks, and to properly use and complete required forms. Knowledge of Robotic systems and Welders. Yaskawa Robotic experience a plus. PLC Alan Bradley Software. Establish and maintain a positive service oriented atmosphere and timely repair of production equipment. Perform productivity, safety and process improvement opportunities as applicable. Be flexible, capable and willing to provide assistance to tasks as Maintenance Manager deems necessary.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma and 3 years’ experience preferred Knowledge of robotic systems and welders. Yaskawa Robotic experience a plus Ability to assemble and disassemble tooling, gauges Ability to schedule time, materials and equipment required to perform tasks, and to properly use and complete required forms PLC Allen Bradley Software

The associate is required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The associate is required to rotate their torso and view behind them to operate required equipment The associate may frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may occasionally be required to perform repetitive work tasks The associate may need to be available during off-hours if needed and assist in emergency situations. The associate must have the flexibility to work various shift hours and/or extended hours if needed
