This is a long-term position focused on conveyor installation work, offering stability and excellent compensation.Job Description:The Millwright Foreman will oversee and coordinate the activities of millwrights and other workers involved in the installation, maintenance, and repair of conveyor systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in millwright work, particularly with conveyor systems, and will be able to lead a team to complete projects efficiently and safely.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and lead a team of millwrights and other workers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of conveyor systems.Plan and schedule work activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide the installation process.Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.Inspect work areas and equipment to identify and correct any safety hazards or deficiencies.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.Train and mentor team members, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency.Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time sheets, job progress, and material usage.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process.Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce adherence to safety policies and procedures.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years of experience as a millwright, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.Extensive experience with conveyor systems installation, maintenance, and repair.Strong knowledge of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Ability to work long hours and in various weather conditions.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work.Compensation:$36 per hour.$100 per diem.50+ hours per week, with overtime as needed.Benefits:Competitive hourly wage with per diem.Overtime pay.Health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) plan with company match.Paid time off and holidays.Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
