The Performance Improvement Specialist will provide support to the Patient Experience Department in the deployment and enrichment of Continuous Performance Improvement systems and Relationship Based Care as they are developed and implemented throughout the Signature Healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Serves as an operative or internal consultant, working as assigned by management and leadership of the Department of Patient Experience at Signature Healthcare. One-on-one coaching of continuous improvement skills and practices Small to mid-sized group facilitation, education, and training Collects and analyzes data as necessary to move the Lean program forward Produces documents to support the rollout and sustainability of the Lean Program

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or related healthcare background 5+ years’ experience working in a healthcare environment Familiar with Lean business concepts preferred Familiar with “healthcare language” Strong Business Aptitude (verbal and written communication, use and interpretation of data, etc.) Highly developed inter-personal skills Well-developed presentation and facilitation skills Flexible and adaptable to variety of working environments and people Ability to manage the work of several projects simultaneously
