Summary 

The Nerve Conduction Technologist/ EMG Tech will performa nerve conduction studies and assist physician with needle exam. 

Qualifications:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. 

  1. The nerve conduction technologists/ EMG techs are responsible for knowing EEG Technicians scope of practice and working within it.  
  2. Setup, operate and maintain EMG equipment.   
  3. Monitors patients during tests 
  4. Reports findings or concerns to reading physician for prompt interpretation 
  5. Calibrates, troubleshoots, or repairs equipment and corrects equipment malfunctions.  Performs equipment diagnostics. 
Training Responsibilities 

  1.    Assists in training technicians or other staff members. 

Preferred Education and Experience 

  1.  Graduate of Nationally Accredited Neurodiagnostic program is preferred   
  2. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  3. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Special Conditions of Employment 

  1. Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT)
  2. Furnish proof of COVID-19 vaccination 

Travel Required 

Able to commute among clinic locations according to work schedule and clinic needs.
