Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide PT based services to patients in the comfort of their homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients' physical conditions, medical histories, and referral information.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving specific goals.
  • Utilize therapeutic techniques, exercises, and equipment to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
  • Educate patient and their families about recovery and prevention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
  • Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and technologies.
  • Adhere to Brightstar Care standards for patient care, safety, and communications.
  • Be willing to travel within an established radius.
  • Assure compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Texas Physical Therapist License.
  • Minimum of 1 yr experience as a Physical Therapist with adult and pediatrics.
  • Home Health experience is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused attitude.
