  • Must have BLS and ALS certifications.

  • Weekends: 3 weekend shifts per month
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Unit Specific Information
  • Location: 2 West, Main Building, 2nd Floor.
  • Number of Beds - 27
  • Staffing details: Day Shift – 1 CNC, 5-6 RN, 3 CNA; Night Shift - 1 CNC, 5-6 RN, 3 CNA
  • Patient Ratios – 1:5-6
  • EMR system in use: Meditech
  • Typical procedures performed: General Surgery, Echo, EKG, Colonoscopy, TEE, EEG, wound vac
  • Equipment used: Welch-Allen Vital sign machines, Glucometers, Polar Ice, CBI
  • Dress Code: Scrub Color - RN/LPN Grey, PCT/CNA Navy
  • Awards/Recognition: Daisy Award winners, Bee Awards, Peer to Peer recognition
  • Additional Details
  • Opportunities for resourcing, precepting, and working with students.
  • Open to block scheduling for travelers, and orientation to unit/policy/procedure provided.
  • Belton is a community hospital with cohesive and easy to access providers.
  • Case management and PT/OT/ST on the same floor as unit.
  • MDRs held daily to coordinate care for patients.
