Who We Want:

Responsible for the development of robot software & hardware standardization. Responsible for communicating these standards to machine builders and to Challenge Manufacturing production facilities. Assist with implementation of the standards, and audit adherence to them.

When and Where:

This is a 1st Shift/8:30AM-5PM M-F position located at our Plant in Holland, MI.

What You'll Do:

Launch Develop robot launch documentationManage robot issues in launch phaseRobot audit leadRobot technical consultant in design reviews Provide RIA robot safety standards knowledgeProvide robot hardware and software capabilities expertise Machine Standards Document lessons learned in the fieldDevelop and submit verbiage to be added in machine standardsEnforce machine standards in launched programs R & D Maintain R&D lab robotsContinuously test Challenge standard equipment in all possible scenarios Apply field lessons learned in lab robotsDevelop robot related drawing sets to be used in launchDistribute robot lab examplesTest new equipment that interacts with robots To gain new functionalityTo react on phased out equipment

What You Need to Have:

5 years' experience with Fanuc and/or ABB (UAF a plus)Firm knowledge of Industry standards NFPA/NEC and ULAutoCAD experienceMust be a Self-Starter and work with minimal supervision + for PLC experienceMust be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
