Job Description

Oracle/JDE Project Manager

This candidate will possess extensive experience in project support and exhibit strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyze requirements for IT, develop and modify project plans, soliciting input from teams, and participate in phase, milestone, and final project reviews.
  • Creates documentation to include process workflows, procedures, diagramming, project reports, metrics, policies, and more.
  • Assess how projects will affect workloads and identify dependencies and possible issues across teams.
  • Manage requests relating to the company's ERP software (Oracle JDE).
  • Recommend appropriate products and services to define and track project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Recommends equipment, products, supplies, property, or other items.
  • Change management, for monitoring and planning infrastructural change in application areas.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices and policies to protect company data and assets.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, security protocols and infrastructure technologies.
  • Responsible for managing the hardware and software infrastructure, (wired and wi-fi), internal services in the data center and in the cloud.
  • Fosters strong vendor relationships with external and internal service providers and team members.





Requirements

Qualifications

  • Oracle JD Edwards and ERP.
  • EDI logistics system.
  • Knowledge of APIs and web services.
  • Preferred for this role is a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, accompanied by 5 years of work experience in a similar position. 

  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

Requirements
Experience Required: 3 or more years of business development experience selling to senior business and IT stakeholders Experience Required: Demonstrated achievement in sales in the IT industry. Proven successful experience selling cloud, service desk, network operations services, information technology solutions and/or other recurring revenue. Proven, successful experience selling project based, professional services with an information technology focus Strong understanding of how enterprises and business functions utilize services offerings from vendors to drive improved efficiency, financial results and employee engagement Demonstrated ability to handle objections and drive best new practice ideas to impact their business Understanding of client’s needs and IT pain points and the ability to translate them into sales opportunities that create true business value Inherent ability to influence others regarding complex topics – hunter mentality and self-starter Socially comfortable speaking with strangers across a broad range of business and information technology topics The ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines, and be accountable for results Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
