Job Description

The experts at Community Care Urology offer the latest, most comprehensive care for a wide range of urological disease and conditions that affect men and women. We are looking for qualified Urologists to join our team Position may rotate between Latham and Clifton Park. 

You will have the opportunity to perform procedures in our brand new Quad A as well as local hospitals.

Experience

Our specialists are among the most experienced surgeons in a wide range of advanced techniques including robotic surgery, image–guided surgery and minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery.

Prostate, Bladder, and Kidney Cancer

Our team of urology specialists include some of the best cancer doctors, including two fellowship– trained urologic surgeons. The specialists are all in one location, so patients can often see them all on the same day.

As our patient, you have access to multiple specialty physicians within Community Care, streamlining care.

Kidney Stones

Kidney Stones are a common and painful condition that Community Care Urology can treat with both invasive and non-invasive types of procedures.

Our providers give patients with kidney stones a medical evaluation that offers a variety of treatments to help prevent more stones, including changes to diet and medications, which may also lower the risk of new stones.

Sexual Health Problems

Erectile dysfunction (ED), also called impotence, is a common problem. Treatment options for patients with normal testosterone levels include medication by pill or injection, intraurethral medication, vacuum device and penile implants.

Our providers also treat other sexual health problems including penile curvature, often known as Peyronie’s Disease, and premature ejaculation.

Incontinence and Other Bladder Control Problems

We offer many ways to identify and treat voiding disorders (problems with emptying the bladder or urethra), including incontinence.

Treatment options include diagnostics including urodynamic, injection therapy, and innovative drug combinations.

We also specialize in the surgical reconstruction of lower urinary tract abnormalities, including sling procedures and bladder Botox.

Community Care Physicians offers a very competitive base salary to their incoming physicians.

Requirements

Qualified candidates should have completion of Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Medicine (MD) , completion of an accredited internship and residency and an active license to practice medicine in NYS.Must be currently board certified by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Member Board or an approved American Osteopathic Association (AOA) specialty board. Upcoming new graduates will still be considered in a board eligible status.
