Job DescriptionLittle Angeles is a leading PPEC (Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care) facility in Orlando dedicated to providing exceptional medical day care services for children with special needs. Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Daycare Coordinator to lead and manage the daily operations of our pediatric daycare center. The Daycare Coordinator will oversee staff, ensure compliance with regulations, manage enrollment, and create a nurturing and safe environment for children. The ideal candidate will work closely with families and staff to ensure high-quality care and education are provided to all children. The Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining records, planning activities, and managing the overall wellbeing of the children in our care.
Responsibilities:
● Ensure consistent compliance with all local, state, and federal laws governing PPEC childcare as applicable.
● Provide reliable, accurate and timely information about the PPEC enrollment to parents.
● Ensure that detailed, accurate and timely files and reports of program services are maintained.
● Confers with parents regarding facility activities, policies, and enrollment.
● Maintains confidentiality of all patients, and family information and records.
● Maintain a positive working relationship with students, families, colleagues, and community members.
● Reviews records for program planning.
● Maintain, always, high quality standards based on developmentally appropriate practices.
● Manage the day-to-day functions of the PPEC center and supervise all daycare staff members (Aides), including substitute staff.
● Oversee hiring process and orientation for all new staff, ensuring they meet all policies and legal requirements.
● Actively recruit childcare openings when available.
● Establish controls to assure that the center adheres to the budget
● Review and help implement policies and procedures for the operation of the PPEC.
● Maintain open, consistent, and effective communication with parents regarding facility activities and policies, providing assistance and support as needed.
● Complete weekly billing for enrolled children and submit to applicable parties.
● Communicate on a regular basis with families via phone calls, parent teacher conferences, and written newsletters.
● Performs other duties as assigned by your supervisor
● Manage and maintain records for Food Program.
● Assist in other tasks as requested by management.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred.
- Must meet state and local qualifications and licensing requirements for daycare management (e.g., CPR and First Aid certification).
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in daycare management, childcare coordination, or a similar leadership role in a childcare setting.
