Job Summary

The College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Weekend & Holiday Kennel Worker to work weekend & holidays. This candidate will perform a variety of tasks related to animal care. Working approximately 12 to 14 hours per week, could be more during holidays and summer (schedule will vary).

Essential Functions Independently perform a variety of animal care duties such as (but not limited to) feeding, watering, grooming, and cleaning Assist with animal treatments as needed Visually assess the health and well-being of canines Update health/treatment records May assist with canine transportation May participate in canine exercise and enrichment activities Transport animals to appointments Minimum Qualifications Enrolled student at Auburn University Must be a US Citizen Must be at least 19 years old Have a valid driver’s license Be able to lift 50+ pounds Have a current tetanus shot Preferred Qualifications Previous Canine Whelping/Handling/Kennel Care is preferred Pay Rate $ Work Hours 20 City position is located in: Auburn State position is located: Alabama
