VCA Katonah Bedford Veterinary Center is excited to announce we are growing To better support the pets and people in our community we are adding to our Overnight team

We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant with experience to work overnights with our Emergency and Critical Care Department . This is a great opportunity for a Veterinary Assistant who wants a challenge and the opportunity for growth. As a Veterinary Assistant , you will utilize your knowledge and cultivate new skills while collaborating with a team of like-minded professionals.

Potential Schedule: per diem

Schedule needed: must include a weekend shift 8p-8a

Compensation: $17 - $23 / hr based on skill set, experience, and licensure status (CVA) *rate includes $2 overnight differential from 12p – 8a

Veterinary Assistant Responsibilities:

Collecting patient histories Pet parent communication and patient discharge coordination Cleaning, restocking, and patient handling Feeding, walking, watering, & sharing love with our patients Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority) Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services Providing compassionate care for all patients
