Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Paint/Blast Team Lead to join our team at our facility located in Columbus, OH, 43207. As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the paint and blast operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and leading a team of skilled technicians. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for industrial painting and blasting.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of paint and blast technicians to ensure efficient and effective operationsPerform paint spraying and blasting tasks as neededEnsure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company policiesConduct machine safety inspections and address any issues promptlyCommunicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve any issuesOversee the preparation and mixing of paint and other coatingsMonitor and maintain inventory of paint supplies and equipmentTrain and mentor new team membersAssist in the development and implementation of process improvementsMeet physical requirements necessary for the job, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years experience in industrial sandblasting, painting.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenHigh School diploma or GED equivalentKnowledge of hazardous materials and proper handling proceduresStrong leadership and people management abilitiesExperience conducting machine safety inspectionsAbility to meet physical requirements of the job
