: Summary: The AU Career Center (CC) seeks individuals to assist with marketing and communication efforts, including planning, research, ideation, conceptualization, production, and reporting. The produced campaigns will promote events, fairs, success stories, and overall office visibility. The individual needs to be creative, fast-thinking, ready to learn, and willing to be involved in various marketing and communication tasks. This position will work closely with the Assistant Director, Marketing and Communications to establish and maintain CC marketing initiatives. The assistant will help maintain CC social media sites, design web and print materials, and work on marketing campaigns for a range of CC programs and services. Essential Functions:

Use social media to promote CC events and programs. The AU Career Center uses Instagram, Handshake, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Research relevant content to share through CC platforms.

Design digital and print materials.

Assist with CC marketing campaigns and special promotions.

Plan, report, use social media analytic and GA4.

Salary Range:

$17.50-$18.00/hour.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

4-5 hours per week.

Required Education and Experience:

The incumbent must be a current or enrolled AU student.

Successful candidates will have design experience and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

Analytics and reporting, graphic design, and video production skills, are a plus.

Marketing, communications, art, graphic design, or film majors preferred.

Some experience with Adobe Creative Suite, or other design software is also preferred.

These qualifications would contribute to being successful in this position. Additional Information:

This position is for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025, with a strong possibility of renewing for future semesters.
