Signature Healthcare’s Brockton Hospital is hiring for a Per Diem Occupational Therapist for Inpatient Rehabilitation Services in Brockton, MA.

Occupational Therapist Roles and Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Manager of Rehabilitation Services, evaluate each patient referred, completing a full initial evaluation appropriate to patient’s diagnosis according to established procedure and physician order. Make recommendations and develop treatment plans to achieve established goals. 

Collaborate as a member of the patient care team 

Provide supervision to COTAs as needed. 

Provide clinical supervision to affiliating students under guidelines established by the participating educational institutions. May participate in the mentoring program.

Required

Graduate of an accredited School of Occupational Therapy with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. Occupational Therapist License in the State of Massachusetts required. BLS License Required Heavy lifting in teaching proper transfer techniques wound care including burns that require debridement. Superior hand skill required for fabrication of braces and splints.
