OSI Optoelectronics is seeking a Semiconductor Fabrication Operator. This individual will perform wafer fabrication functions in the production of semiconductor devices. They will also operate equipment in performing alignment, masking, etch and diffusion. 


Responsibilities

Handle wafers and operate various equipment in performing functions such as: wafer scribe, diffusion, photoresist, alignment, masking etch, various evaporators, metal etch, and disco saw. Keep accurate and up-to-date lot traveler records and data sheets on lots in process. Recognizes equipment and product problems, notifies supervisor and/or troubleshoots errors in order to achieve optimum production levels. It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem. Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required. Years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. 1+ years' of experience in wafer fabrication required.  Must have basic problem-solving skills. Good hand-eye coordination is necessary. Ability to use a microscope regularly. Capable of working with and around chemicals, including acid (safety training will be provided). Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
