Job Requirements

Responsibility: 

The individual will be responsible for non-routine and unstructured tasks, requiring creative solutions with more inter-dependencies and with processes that are less defined. He/she will provide technical leadership for the team(s) they are associated with and participate in key technical decisions. They will engage with product management on roadmaps and influence architectural choices to ensure the required business outcomes are achieved. They will engage with customers on escalations and ensure that there is continuous improvement in all areas under their technical purview to deliver maximum value to our customers. 

Essential Functions: 

Participate in technical discussions within the team and with other groups within Business Units associated with specified projects  Participate in the technical aspect of stakeholder management for their team  Responsible for providing guidance in development and testing activities of other engineers that involve several inter-dependencies  Participate in critical and/or high visibility customer support  Work on multiple tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team, department, and company goals  Day to day tasks Technical Design  Coding and Execution of projects  Test Automation  Debugging/Performance analysis  Running PoCs and R&D activities  Enforce best practices for software design and development by involving in appropriate reviews  Strong aptitude for learning new technologies  Resourceful in applying creative ideas to solve problems 

Qulifications

12+ years of relevant experience  A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science  Excellent coding skills in C/C++ and in depth understanding of kernel fundamentals  A strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures and programming practices  5-years of kernel programming experience Experience with Networking and file/cloud protocols  In-depth understanding of Embedded systems and File systems  Strong oral and written communication skills
