RN, Non-invasive Cardiology, 1.0 FTE

Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in an autonomous manner. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be to coordinate and supervise patient care delegated to other assistive personnel. The RN will also be responsible for developing and initiating a plan for patient care using an outcomes-based approach ensuring application of age related growth and development principles. Education/Experience: BSN preferred. Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in acute care cardiology, ICU or Emergency Center setting. Three or more years of experience preferred. Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses: This position will support, but will not necessarily be limited to, the following modalities of diagnostic services which will be provided within the medically delegated protocols/guidelines as from time to time established : • Cardiac Stress Echocardiography • Dobutamine stress echocardiography • Dobutamine and Adenosine Nuclear Stress Testing, • Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) • CT Angiography • Adenosine Cardiac MRI (de-MRI) • Standard treadmill studies per protocols established from time to time. • BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
