Position Summary:

Ships, receives and enters into inventory, parts received from service specialists.

Essential Functions:

Receives parts from vendors and enters parts into inventory.

Supplies Gordon Food Service (GFS) technicians with appropriate parts.

Returns malfunctioning parts under warranty to appropriate vendor.

Maintains an accurate inventory at all times and periodically performs inventory cycle counts.

Manage appropriate parts stock level.

Produces and updates parts manual.

Researches parts price and meet with vendors.

Orders parts for equipment including plumbing, etc.

Generates periodic reports for Management.

Maintains knowledge of all products and equipment required to perform this job and

maintains proper safety precautions at all times.

Adheres to the mission and cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

Must be able to communicate clearly in a professional manner.

Must have good written, verbal and organizational skills. 

Must be able to prioritize and multi-task. 

Must have mathematical ability, mechanical aptitude and negotiating skills. 

Must maintain professional appearance and good hygiene.

Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.
