Calling all cybersecurity experts Our Power and Controls Product Integrity team is seeking a Product Cybersecurity Test Equipment Infrastructure Engineer to safeguard our test equipment infrastructure and lab facilities for airborne control systems products. 

As the product cybersecurity test infrastructure engineer, you will play a key role in establishing and upholding security standards for test equipment. Your responsibilities will include coordinating security risk assessments, defining security features in test equipment design, and participating in investigations. Additionally, you will collaborate with digital technology teams to enhance lab and network security, safeguard intellectual property (IP), and protect our products. Your role will also involve promoting a culture of product security within the organization, preparing for future program requirements, and providing training and mentorship to colleagues.

Primary Responsibilities:

Participation in the Power & Controls Product Security Board

Help develop Product Security expertise and skillsets throughout the organization.

Develop processes to meet internal and industry requirements.

Support programs.

Security risk assessment of lab facilities and test equipment

Oversee key technologies and standard security functionality development.

Define and apply security analysis/test tools and methods.

Support external facilities such as supplier and customer lab sites to ensure security protections are in place.

Ensure compliance to industry standards.

Manage customer/certification requirements.

Support response to cybersecurity incidents.

Evaluating/contributing to technical proposals

Guiding adherence to DFARS, NIST and DO-326A/DO-356A Security processes.

Fostering organizational adoption of Secure System Development Lifecycle (SSDLC)

Participate in cybersecurity focused industry committees and working groups.

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience collaborating on test equipment designs and security.

Analysis of system and application security architectures.

Promoting/guiding architectural solutions with a defense-in-depth design.

Reviewing system and application vulnerability assessments and providing mitigations.

Experience creating/reviewing project bids and pursuits.

Experience or knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) for device certificate management.

Experience with RTCA DO-326A / DO-356A, DFARS and NIST Standards

Any industry recognized security certifications (Sec+, OSCP, CISSP) is desirable.
