Role Summary

The assistant manager will oversee and coordinate different strategies and put ideas into action that drive the restaurant toward the Operator's vision. Our leaders are responsible for guiding those under their supervision to push toward that vision, which accounts for food safety, speed, and quality. This position requires skills like self-drive, self-motivation, ownership, high energy, servant mentality, and follow-through, as well as a high-level thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
 Executing this role requires 40+ hours, and a varied schedule to support the demands of operational needs, catering, or special events. 
 

General Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the Operator's vision is being achieved 
  • CARE for team members, guests, and our community
  • Use CFA tools to problem solve
  • Problem solve operational challenges to achieve sales goals
  • Keep Food Cost, Labor, and Inventory Expenses within budgets and goals
  • Create goals, accountability, and consequences to achieve performance and culture standards
  • Monitor and maintain proper food safety procedures 
  • Ensure operational systems are established to mitigate risk and personal safety threats
  • Oversee team member-related complaints, issues, or performance concerns and maintain current records or documentation on file 
  • Execute Performance Reviews of team members and leaders
  • Keep current with all Chick-fil-A best practices for operations
  • Collaborate with Operational Leads and Team members regularly
  • Create a culture of CARE, Safety, and Fun

 
Preferred qualifications: 
  • Experience as a leader in food service operations, retail, or similar fast paced environments
  • Years of Experience: 2 preferred
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish preferred
  • This is a full-time position.
  • This person must be self-directed and highly organized.

Hourly Wage (40+ Hours per week - Floating schedule required across dayparts)
Negotiable (Dependent on experience)
