About the Role

In this opportunity as a Senior Networking Cloud Engineer , you will:

Have a focus on Firewall products such as Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper or Cisco.  Work with Rules Management Perform High Availability deployments (Cluster XL).  Build large and complex designs such as large-scale network infrastructure.  Work with foundational networking concepts such as routing, switching, WAN design and implementation and ISP connectivity.  Work with IaC such Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation and ARM templates.  Use knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, flags and be able to troubleshoot connectivity issues using packet captures.  Work with infrastructure monitoring such as Data Dog.  Use networking technology in one or more cloud providers such as Azure, Oracle, Amazon and GCP.  Deploy high availability Network Virtualized Appliances in a cloud environment such as Auto-Scaling Groups, VMSS or MIGs.  Work within Linux operating system.  Lead projects from inception to completion with autonomy.  Look for enhancements and improvements and to put those ideas forward.

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Senior Networking Cloud Engineer if you have experience in: 

A Network Engineer role Checkpoint,EIGRP/BGP/VRF routing AWS Certified Advanced Networking or Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate certification (preferred) IP/ARP/MAC/Spanning-tree Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, flags Troubleshooting connectivity issues using Wireshark/Tcpdump/snoop Networking technology in CloudAzure, OracleIAC development (Infrastructure as Code) ARM (Azure Resource Manager) Azure/DevOps pipelines, DevOps (CI/CD) GitHub and GitHub actions Operational Support (Service Now) Scripting with bash or python Terraform and/or basic python experience is a plus
