Summary

The Child Health Evaluation and Research (CHEAR) Center at the University of Michigan is seeking a full-time statistician at the intermediate level.This unique opportunity necessitates application of statistical and epidemiological methods. Under general direction, the statistician will select study samples in large relational databases; analyze and interpret a wide variety of data according to established statistical methods; and prepare reports and tables summarizing results of analyses. This position requires an individual who can work with a high degree of independence within the scope of their responsibilities. The individual will be expected to analyze, compare, and evaluate different courses of action to solve complex analytic and programming problems without immediate supervision.
