Position: REMOTE – Registration Specialist
Status: Full-Time Hourly (40 hours)
Hours: Contract Position, 5 days per week, from 9am-6pm EDT with one-hour lunch

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:


This is a temporary, REMOTE – Registration Specialist opportunity with the possibility of becoming a permanent position based on business needs.
The Registration Specialist plays a crucial role in providing support for clients as they transition from client intake (clients in onboarding) to the support pipeline (active clients). This position is responsible for maintaining client loyalty, upselling existing clients to new services, fostering long-term relationships, facilitating overall client service, and ensuring clients achieve their goals. The Registration Specialist. serves as a trusted partner to assigned clients and must have a strong background in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) as an account manager, client success manager, or similar role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support to clients transitioning from client intake to the support pipeline, ensuring a smooth onboarding process and continued satisfaction.
  • Maintain client loyalty and foster long-term relationships by understanding clients' needs and goals and providing tailored solutions.
  • Upsell existing clients to new services, driving revenue generation and enhancing client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate overall client service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor client progress and ensure they are achieving their goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrate strong computer literacy and familiarity with various software applications, including email, word processing, CRM, and online research tools.
  • Drive client retention and revenue generation through successful relationship management and proactive engagement.
  • Utilize patience, empathy, and de-escalation techniques to address client concerns and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Exhibit key attributes such as customer focus, judgment/decision-making, prioritization, adaptability, conflict management, written and oral communication skills, pragmatism/problem-solving, resourcefulness/initiative, and active listening.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proven experience in achieving KPIs and SLAs as an account manager, client success manager, or similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for syntax, grammar, and vocabulary.
  • Demonstrated success in driving client retention and generating revenue through relationship management and upselling.
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in email, word processing, CRM, and software navigation.
  • Experience teaching or demonstrating software functionality and driving adoption internally or externally.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, adapt to changing circumstances, and manage conflicts professionally.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong client de-escalation skills to address client concerns and maintain positive relationships.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • This position routinely utilizes standard office equipment such as laptops, computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets, in a home office as well as an in-person office environment.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds.
  • This position is generally performed in a professional office setting; 70% sitting, 20% standing, and 10% walking.
