Location: Dallas, TX, / Fort Worth, TXSalary: $30.00 Per HourHours: 8am to 5pm (Monday- Friday )
Responsibilities:1.   Installation and Repairs: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. This may involve working on water supply lines, drainage systems, and gas lines.2.   Troubleshooting: Diagnose and identify plumbing issues using appropriate tools and equipment. Determine the best course of action to resolve problems efficiently.3.   Compliance: Ensure all work complies with relevant plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards. Stay updated on changes in plumbing codes and industry practices.4.   Inspections: Perform inspections of plumbing systems to assess their condition, identify potential problems, and provide recommendations for maintenance or repairs.5.   Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their plumbing needs, provide cost estimates, and explain the scope of work. Address customer concerns and questions in a professional manner.6.   Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and any inspections or tests conducted. Prepare reports as necessary.7.   Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other construction professionals, such as contractors and electricians, to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems with other building components.8.   Emergency Response: Respond to emergency plumbing situations, such as leaks, burst pipes, or sewer backups. Provide prompt and effective solutions to minimize damage and inconvenience.9.   Upkeep of Tools and Equipment: Keep tools and equipment in good working condition. Report any malfunctioning tools or equipment and ensure they are repaired or replaced.10. Continued Education: Stay informed about new plumbing technologies, materials, and methods. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:1.   Journeyman License: Hold a valid journeyman plumber license, which typically involves completing an apprenticeship program and passing a licensing exam.2.   Experience: Have several years of practical experience as a plumber, demonstrating proficiency in a variety of plumbing tasks.3.   Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements.4.   Physical Fitness: Be physically capable of performing the demands of the job, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.5.   Communication Skills: Have strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, team members, and other professionals effectively.6.   Problem-Solving: Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in challenging situations.
