Saint Francis University invites applications for a full time, 12-month position of Aviation Maintenance Technician Lead Instructor in the Aviation Maintenance Technician School in the Division of Professional Studies. The Aviation Maintenance Technician Lead Instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students pursuing careers in aircraft maintenance. The role requires a deep understanding of aviation maintenance practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in the field.

Successful candidates will meet, at a minimum, the following qualifications: FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is required. Several years of experience working as an Aviation Maintenance Technician. Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, safety protocols, and industry best practices. Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to problem solve and think critically. Experience with aircraft and technology used in the field. Willingness to work in a dynamic and evolving educational environment. Strong commitment to safety and compliance. Preferred qualifications include previous teaching or instructional experience in an Aviation Maintenance program. Additional aviation-related certifications and endorsements a plus.
