Your Impact:
As a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant the ideal candidate will possess exceptional critical thinking abilities, keen attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting processes; particularly in relation to financial statement line items. The role will involve performing tasks related to balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing and uploading journal entries, preparing roll-forward schedules of Fixed Assets, and Intangible Assets and Goodwill. Strong Excel skills and a comprehensive understanding of business operations are essential for success in this position.
Core Responsibilities:
Maintain detailed documentation of accounting processes, controls, and procedures. Execute journal entry uploads into NetSuite accurately and efficiently for various general ledger accounts. Analyze process flows, ensure accuracy and compliance, identify opportunities for process improvement in various accounting workflows and implement streamlined solutions. Transition additional month-end close tasks such as inventory, fixed assets, finance & operating leases, intangible assets. and other financial statement line items and reconciliations to this role as data streamlining progresses. Perform reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and ensure alignment with business objectives and assisting with cross functional accounting tasks as needed. Assist in ad hoc financial projects and analyses as required and assist in the annual financial audit.Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.
Core Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field; CPA certification or CPA candidate preferred. 3-5 years of relevant experience in general ledger accounting in either public or private industry, with a focus on financial analysis. Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software (, NetSuite, ERP Systems, etc.) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.Physical Environment/Location:
Our Senior Accountant will be joining us in our HQ Paso Robles office. The position will have a potential for hybrid when within commuting distance.
Compensation: Pay Range - $75,$80, annually/DOE
