Duke Raleigh Campusfeatures 204 inpatient beds and offers a comprehensive array of services, including cancer, cardiovascular, neuroscience, advanced gastrointestinal, and wound healing care.Occ Summary
Responsible for the administration of a new Duke Health community physician department, the Associated Providers Department, based in Raleigh. Role reports directly to Duke Raleigh Campus Chief Medical Officer.
Work Performed
Areas of direct responsibility include assistance with credentialing, expense management, physician call schedule oversight, contracting, committee facilitation, and other administrative tasks related to Raleigh campus physician support.
Maintain liaison with all levels of administration, and physicians to accomplish directives and to facilitate the resolution of problems. Work closely with School of Medicine senior department administrators and the Central Verification Office. Serve as departmental liaison with administrative and professional personnel concerning policies and procedures, personnel administration, and some budgetary preparation and control.
