Essential Functions 
Performs any combination of the following duties:
•Responsible for all aspects of the injection molding and sonic welding process including, but not limited to set-up, tear down, start-up, first piece quality and troubleshooting.
•Installs molds in the Injection Molding machines to include water hook ups and hydraulic and electrical hook ups as needed.
•Provides technical support regarding process control, troubleshooting, quality, quality improvements, training and documentation.
•Trains production personnel as needed.
•Monitors machines daily to detect variations in process.
•Startup production jobs and instruct the machine operators on the proper operating procedures.
•Assist in monitoring quality and inform Supervision of any discrepancies.
•Help Material Handlers and Machine Operators as time allows.
•Maintain good housekeeping.
Other duties as needed and directed by the supervisor

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•Knowledge of Lancer Quality Systems
. Able to read blueprints and use measuring equipment (thread gauges, dial indicators, plug gauges, etc.)
•Must have own hand tools and micrometers.
•Knowledge of basic shop math (geometry, algebra, and fractions).
•Certified forklift driver
•Lifting required.


Education and Experience 
•H.S. diploma or G.E.D. equivalency required.
•Requires 5 years’ previous experience in plastics injection molding environment.
