PRIME AE Group (), a well-established and emerging multi-discipline architectural and engineering firm with 19 office locations and over 475 employees within the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Southeast Regions, is looking to add Transportation Construction Inspectors to our existing CM/CI team for Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission highway/structureprojects from MP 200 to the Delaware River Bridge and MP A20 to A131.
SIGN ON BONUSES AVAILABLE COMPETITIVE HOURLY RATES FULL-TIME BENEFITS NICET Certification is strongly desired.Anyone with any level of highway/structure construction inspection experience (TCI) with certifications or a Civil Engineering Degree are encouraged to apply.
The inspector will need to:
Follow Specification 408, RC, BC, TC, and other standards. Review project plans. Review contract schedules. Complete Individual Daily Reports (IDR’s) and other needed project documentation at the end of each day utilizing an iPad. Prepare work orders and estimates as per the Commission Operations Manuel (COM). Have a high school diploma (or equivalent). Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record required.These positions may include construction inspection for concrete or asphalt roadways, structures, drainage systems, guide rail, MPT, and E&S components.
Required certifications or experience includes any combination of the following:
NICET ACI NECEPT Concrete NECEPT Asphalt IPAD/Kahua Nuclear Gauge Certification
