Responsibilities of the position will be but are not limited to:

Provide technical and project management services to our existing and future clients on a variety of projects Prepare technical correspondence, project proposals, technical reports, work plans, and project specifications including cost estimates and budgets  Data compilation, reduction, interpretation, evaluation/comparison to environmental regulatory standards Interact with internal and external clients, contractors and service providers Conduct environmental sampling and monitoring for various media and contaminants of concern by following established procedures Be available for occasional after hours response to environmental emergencies to perform field tasks. For Success in this position, you will possess the following skills and qualifications: 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Applied Science (Engineering, Geology, or Science)  5-10 years’ experience including a mix of field, data evaluation and interpretation and technical report writing Professional Designation/License (Engineer, Geologist, etc) a plus Experience preparing regulatory work plans and reports for investigation, remediation, and closure.  Understanding of multimedia remedial technologies for addressing a variety of contaminants including VOCs, SVOCs, metals, and PFAS. Working knowledge of the design and operation and maintenance of remediation systems. Experience in coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail in a consulting environment.  Working knowledge of methods and procedures for site characterization, hydrogeologic analysis and remediation of contaminants in soil, soil vapor, indoor air and groundwater. Conduct research, collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documents Critical thinking and problem solving – ability to identify multiple solutions to a problem Excellent verbal and written communication skills Positive attitude, very strong interpersonal skills Establishing and maintaining harmonious working relationships with superiors, co-workers and clients – effective collaborators are welcome Self-starter and willingness to work in a team in a fast-paced environment Interested in continuing professional development OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification Knowledge of the Midwest market is a plus
