Commercial/Residential Roofing Foreman

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roofing Foreman to join our team. As a Roofing Foreman, you will oversee and manage roofing projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. This position requires strong leadership qualities, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of roofing techniques and materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of roofing crew members.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Plan and schedule roofing projects, including material and equipment requirements.
  • Inspect work progress and quality to ensure adherence to design specifications and building codes.
  • Train and mentor crew members on proper roofing techniques and safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during roofing projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of job progress, materials used, and crew attendance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Roofing Foreman or similar role in commercial or residential roofing.
  • Thorough knowledge of various roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and roofing plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • OSHA certification preferred.
