Compensation: Hourly rates range from $29.82 to $40.00, based on experience and licensure
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
The Certified X-Ray Technologist will report to the Center Administrator and will assist in the following operations:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by providing instructions on positioning and imaging.
- Independently perform radiographic procedures as per physicians' orders and company policies, following ARRT protocols.
- Deliver high-quality radiographic images to providers within the scope of licensure; ensure all x-ray reports are reviewed by the provider and placed in patient chart in accordance with HIPPA law.
- Keep all x-ray records up to date.
- Maintain the x-ray room and equipment; clean and sanitize the x-ray table as needed.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure exchange of dosimetry badge each quarter.
- Assist Medical Assistants with front and back-office duties as needed, including but not limited to vital signs, phlebotomy, hearing and vision test, injections, drug screen collection, management of check in and check out process and clinic upkeep.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiology program. ARRT certification if applicable.
- Current certification for Limited Scope X-Ray Technician.
- Ability to communicate through written instructions and complete routine written logs and reports.
- Must maintain confidentiality.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Must be willing to provide weekend and holiday coverage as needed.
