Inventory Control Clerk

Job Description

Essential Functions/Duties:

Works with management on the activities associated with Inventory Control to the warehouse operations at the Regional Distribution (428) facility. Inventory Control activities include but are not limited to receiving duties, Cycle Counts, Inventory adjustments, discrepancies, returns, and location control. Maintains records, provides data and analysis to drive continuous improvement in those areas. Maintains performance levels to meet and or exceed inventory goals accuracy and associated cost. Will Monitor expiration dates and proactively works with buyers and sales groups to move product to reduce expired material costs. Works on daily basis with supervisor on essentials functions below.

· Cycle Counts

· Location Control

· Returns

· Discrepancies

· Negatives

· Shelf Life

· Inventory Adjustments

· HL and EM Area Control

· Support that standard operating procedures are in place to ensure inventory accuracy and timely receipts

· Prioritize and manage daily activities to meet and/or exceed inventory cycle counts and remain current with inbound products

· Work with management to Identify process improvement opportunities

· Standup and sit-down forklift experience

· Perform all essential functions with minimal supervision.
