Responsibilities:

Accomplish tasks with minimal supervision, once fully competent. Inspection of rejected production parts using standard metrology tools. Creation of clear Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) that may include layouts of rejected parts. Review / Inspection of all incoming mechanical and electrical parts from suppliers. Review / Inspection of all incoming mechanical and electrical parts from customer (warranty returns). Creation and management of receiving NCRs in SAP. Working with suppliers to manage the following: RCCA for supplier part failures. Free of Charge replacements for supplier part failures. Working with production quality to mitigate failures on production machines due to supplier NCs. Physical processing of rejected supplier and customer components (tagging and disposition). 25% of duties are hands-on with machines and production operation team, 75% of duties are data management / desk duties. Some light to medium lifting. 5lbs to 25lbs

Requirements / Skills:

Fully competent in basic metrology Able to provide clear/concise information Basic competency in basic industrial machine mechanical design Fully competent of reading and interpreting engineering drawings Basic capability in MS Office suite Basic competency in various SAP transactions SAP proficiency is not required, but is preferred

Education / Experience:

5-10 years of experience in the quality field Education: High School

Reporting Structure:

Reports into the Quality Supervisor, Supplier/Customer

Reviewing / Assessments:

Performance review yearly Performance based on predetermined personal / professional / and site-based goals Performance shall be evaluated on: TBD
