Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manuel Machinist to join our team. As a manual machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to produce precision parts and components. Duties
Set up and operate machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Use precision measuring instruments to ensure the accuracy of finished products.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary adjustments or repairs
Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
Proficiency in operating coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for quality control purposes
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of power tools
Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Experience with lathe operations and machining techniques
Solid mathematical skills for performing basic calculations and measurements.
Familiarity with hand tools used in machining processes.
Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD software for creating detailed designs
Understanding of tooling concepts and the ability to select appropriate tools for specific tasks.
Ability to assemble components according to specifications.
