At Autocar, we fight for the driver’s needs. We are disrupting the industry by putting the driver’s needs first. Every truck we make is custom-engineered, and custom-made, specifically for that customer—no mass production here. Because we engineer trucks differently, we deliver trucks faster than the competition, and they WORK. The truck has more up-time, is more comfortable for the driver, and is safer—40% fewer crashes with injury than the industry average. *Forthe life of the truck, we have around the clock support.

Can you manage a supply chain that brings together 2600 parts from multiple suppliers from around the world at exactly the time they are required in order to build the world’s toughest vocational trucks?Then this job is foryou.
Provide the overall strategic and operational direction for operational logistics and inventory position works alongside our VP of Procurement and is a crucial link in the chain of ensuring the correct quantities of the correct parts are ordered at the correct time to be available just in time for manufacturing at the stations they are needed.
Meet all strategic supply chain requirements of the organization which includeparts deliveredon time,withintotal costconstraints,specifications toengineering compliance,and in a manner that helps build ongoing, lasting, mutually beneficialrelationships with our key suppliers.
Build a strong team of professionals that can continue to improve supply chain objectives into the future.
Ensure that ERP scheduling is adhere to so that production demand is perfectly matched.
Manage the cashflow timing by reducing cash-to-cash cycle times.
Manage internal warehouse logistics across two manufacturing plants.
Ensure cost targets are met in alignment with strategic objectives.
Support change management.
The Skills you bring to the table:
Proven results in supply chain management in the automotive space.
The ability to build collaborative internal relationships with the procurement and production functions.
The ability to use diagnostic information gathering to build an understanding of how to improve existing processes.
Forward thinking and problem-solving abilities coupled with the ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
Strong results orientation that sets challenging goals for yourself and your team and holds all parties accountable.
Thoroughness to ensure that your work and those of your team is accurate and aligned with requirements.

Your background includes:
Bachelor's degreeor equivalent work experience; master’s degree preferred
Finance,OperationsManagement,Supply ChainManagement,or Industrial Engineering degrees preferred
15+yearsofexperience inglobalsupply chain,procurement, andquality control,in vehicle manufacturingorheavy-dutyequipment manufacturing
Experienceinhigh volume, high complexity environments
Automotive experience, preferably in the commercial vehiclecategory
Working knowledge of sourcing process, systems, tools, and methods
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability tolead thesupply chain organizationand develop outstanding and viable relationships.
Proven ability to drive cohesion and collaboration among many different people and functions.
You may haveSupply ChainCertification (APICS,CPIM, CSCM)
