Material Handler

Parsons is looking for an an experienced Material Handler to execute the receiving, inspection, disposition, storing, using, staging and distribution of equipment used by healthcare participants and/or healthcare professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all orders are shipped and delivered promptly. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, are reliable and value teamwork in a fast-paced and safety-focused environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

ERP/inventory management systems experience such as Oracle, Deltek Costpoint, Maximo, SAP, Remedy Performs root cause analysis, make recommendations and document non-conforming materials. Perform physical movement of materials from one area to another using handcarts or forklifts. Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment Physically and systemically receive/issue individual material requisitions Coordinate with on-site and/or off-site warehousing facilities for parts replenishment and material for storage. Work with appropriate logistics and production personnel to resolve/prevent part shortages. Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing and other managers to optimize processes Resolve issues regarding shipped orders Help reconcile inventory discrepancies and report discrepancies to Supervisor. Report to management on activities and issues

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

High school Diploma/GED or local equivalent. Demonstrate ability to read, write and speak in local language. Proficient in basic mathematics. Ability to communicate well and work with others. Basic computer skills. Ability to consistently lift
