Hamilton Connections is seeking a material handler for the second shift at a manufacturing company in Sandy Hook, CT. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The hours are 4 p.m.-2 a.m., Monday-Thursday. The salary is $17-$19 an hour, depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Bring scheduled work to finishing department when needed
  • Move printed, die cut and stripped material to designated areas
  • Keep designated areas organized
  • Keep designated areas clean
  • Scan out stock and bring to aerator
  • Unload stock trucks
  • Gather scrap wood throughout plant and load scrap wood in trailer
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
  • Forklift experience and previous certification
  • Warehouse experience
  • Ability to handle physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting  
  • Communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • High school diploma or equivalent
