KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Specialist, Cyber Security SecOps Lead to join our Managed Services practice.
ResponsibilitiesCreate standard operating procedures (SOPs) and train security analysts on how to perform critical ongoing security operationsOversee the execution of all routine security operations, from regular compliance tasks to ongoing reporting, and implement automation over time to improve on existing processesOrchestrate incident response activities by bringing together clients, development teams, front line analysts, and breach response teams as neededContribute to the software development lifecycle by communicating security operation needs at the beginning of new developmentsWork closely with the cyber security compliance lead to ensure that all compliance obligations are met on an ongoing basisQualificationsMinimum three years of recent experience in security operations Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in information technology, computer science, or related discipline, or equivalent work experienceSkilled in problem solving and process design for how to meet compliance requirements as efficiently as possible given limited resources as well automate existing process to drive efficiency improvements over timeAble to pick up different security tools with ease (vulnerability scanners, endpoint detection and response tools, antivirus, cloud security posture management, and more)Strong communication to connect compliance teams, development teams, and clientsSolid cyber security domain knowledge across compliance, risk, system administration, incident response, and moreApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future KPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
