Dental Assistant | Red Beach

Due to an internal promotion, Lumino Red Beach is currently on the lookout for a Dental assistant to join the team

Located in the heart of beautiful Red Beach, our practice has been serving the local community for many years. 

As one of our Dental Assistants, you will work alongside our highly trained clinicians and other dental professionals to provide excellent patient care and support. You will be tasked with supporting our clinicians during various dental procedures and ensuring best practice standards are upheld, and the best patient care is provided to every patient. You will also take control of tasks such as sterilisation and infection control, ensuring all instruments and equipment are processed and sterilised following best practice guidelines.

This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You will be someone who enjoys working closely within a team and providing upstanding customer care. 

The hours for the role are below: 

• Monday: 7.45am - 2.15pm 
• Tuesday: 7.45am - 5.15pm 
• Wednesday: 7.45am - 5.15pm
• Thursday: 9.45am - 7.15pm

The Location

Lumino Red Beach is located at Shop 14, corner Red Beach Road & Bay Street, Red Beach.

Responsibilities

• Assist Clinicians during dental procedures, such as taking X-rays, sterilising instruments, and preparing materials.
• Greet patients, review their medical history and answer any questions they may have
• Maintain accurate patient records and filing systems
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for use
• Stock and order dental supplies

The Person

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but we are happy to train the right person
• Knowledge of dental procedures and techniques
• Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills
• Proficiency in computer software applications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
