Currently looking for a Painter to join our S. Houston (Hobby Airport) location.

Responsibilities of the Painter include, but are not limited to:

Fills small dents and scratches with body filler and cleans and prepares surfaces to ensure paint and other finishes will adhere properly.Works with potentially hazardous materials so attention to safety and personal protection are essential.Mix and spray paint and primer per work instructions.Clean panels in preparation for painting and primingDocument the materials used in the process to maintain traceability.Management of the collection, disposal, and storage of hazardous and non-hazardous wastesMaintain spray equipment.Select appropriate paint or mix paints using automated paint mixing equipment.

Qualifications of the Painter include, but are not limited to:

2 to 3 years of experience in Automotive painter and or industrial painting2 to 3 years of experience using gravities sprays, and mixing paints.Must have recent experience painting pumps and working around pump systems.

Physical Demand: Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Working Conditions: Shop environment

Training/Certifications: N/A

Shift Time/Overtime: Day Shift Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST

Travel: N/A

Education: High School Diploma or GED
