The School of Business at Rutgers University-Camden’s, Department of Accounting seeks applications for a Lecturer to teach the 3-credit course Financial Reporting Analysis and/or Accounting for Managerial Decisions in our online MAcc graduate degree program in Summer 2024. The two courses require the teaching of key accounting concepts and applications and how to use financial information in regard to management control and decision-making. The successful candidate is expected to prepare and submit a course syllabus, provide timely student feedback, provide original course content, offer office hours to meet with students, and adhere to grade submission policies and deadlines. The course is to be taught 100% online in an asynchronous format (using Canvas). Position Status Posting Number 24FA0162 Posting Open Date Posting Close Date Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Applicants must possess an advanced degree in accounting and have at least 5 years of professional experience in the area(s) of accounting being taught. CPA or other professional license is a plus. Must have demonstrated experience in teaching online. Certifications/Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrated excellence in teaching particularly within an online environment (experience using the LMS Canvas is a plus).
