Kimberton Whole Foods is looking for a Perishable Foods Stocker to join the team

Schedule: Part-time. Availability to work a mix of opening and closing shifts. One weekend shift is required each week.

Availability: Mondays 12pm-8:30pm, Wednesdays 3:30pm-8:30pm, Fridays 3:30pm-8:30pm, and Saturdays 10am-2pm

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 hourly to start.

Age Requirement: Must be 16 years or older.

Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked.

Job Summary

The Perishable Team Member provides a delightful customer experience while maintaining a welcoming, well merchandised department. This person supports the Perishable Department and embodies the spirit of a team player. The Perishable Team Member interacts with customers, vendors, and fellow KWF Team Members in a positive and authentic manner and follows the direction of the Perishable Department Head and store management.

DAILY OPERATIONS: The Perishable Stocker's primary responsibilities to execute the following. 

Provide exceptional customer service to all.Receiving and stocking all incoming refrigerated and frozen items including fresh meat and fish, local eggs and dairy, bakery, and specialty products. Stocks and handles product following guidelines for time and temperature demands.Rotating back stock on a first-in first-out basis.Working in collaboration with the Perishable Department Head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department.Follows the established KWF SOP for maintaining abundant, dynamic, and fresh displays throughout the entire department.Understands KWF inventory management practices.Assist in other areas of the store as needed. Requirements

Physical Capabilities:

Full sense range (vision, hearing, and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers. Lifting, gripping, and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products. Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.Standing- prolonged standing. Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting). Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.  Salary Description $15-$16/hr
