We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our clients, as well as providing exceptional customer service and support. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Enter and maintain payroll data in the system, including new hires, terminations, and salary changes
- Calculate employee wages, deductions, and taxes, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Generate and distribute payroll reports to clients and internal stakeholders
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to clients
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee benefits and time off
- Stay up-to-date with payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration or a similar role
- Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
