Canyon Ridge Hospital has serviced the Greater Inland Empire since 9. Canyon Ridge is a -bed acute, locked psychiatric facility offering services to adolescents ages -, adults and older adults.

We believe in an individualized, patient-focused approach to diagnosis and treatment. For some, anxiety or drug dependence looks different from others with the same diagnoses, and in some cases, behavioral health and substance use disorders occur simultaneously. In these cases of dual diagnosis, we treat the patients in the best way possible given their specific needs.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Yoga Instructor is responsible for teaching patients the practice of yoga poses, breathing and meditation. Yoga is a universal practice. Yoga supports patients in connecting with mind, body and soul. Yoga serves the purpose of teaching a positive relationship with the body, breathing techniques as a way of connecting with the body versus being disconnected with the body and meditation to promote mindfulness skills.

Qualifications

Hish School Diploma A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in activity therapy, humanities, social work or related therapeutic discipline preferred. Two (2) years of experience as a Yoga Instructor. Preferred certification by State of California. Must hold liability insurance.
