Key Responsibilities:

  •  Content Creation:
    • Develop detailed technical documentation, including user guides, API references, white papers, training materials, and troubleshooting guides.
    • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly language for diverse audiences.
    • Gather information from SMEs through interviews, design reviews, and technical specifications.
    • Create consistent documentation style guides and templates.
  •  Collaboration and Leadership:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product management, marketing) to understand product features.
    • Facilitate documentation planning and review processes, ensuring delivery of high-quality content.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  •  Exceptional Writing Skills:
    • Proven ability to write clear, concise, and grammatically correct technical content with a strong understanding of technical terminology and concepts.
  •  Technical Expertise:
    • Familiarity with software development lifecycle, programming languages, and technical concepts relevant to the industry.
  • Collaboration Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and extract technical information from SMEs.
  • Visual Communication:
    • Skills to create diagrams, flowcharts, and other visual aids to enhance documentation clarity.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical writing, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a technical writer, with a demonstrated track record of creating high-quality technical documentation.
