We're seeking a Anesthesia Technician, Emory Midtown Hospital responsible for being a capable certified technician who cares about the quality of their work an ensuring the safety and care for all patients.
This individual will:
Ensures the availability of supplies for the provision of anesthesia services. Sets up, stocks and maintains specialty carts and machines, anesthesia agents, and IV fluids, including the exchange of medication trays. Maintains equipment and related supplies in aseptic condition. Cleans and disinfects contaminated medical equipment, retrieves medical equipment and devices from other areas of the hospital. Follows federal, JCAHO, and organizational guidelines for sterile techniques and infection control. Disinfecting of Equipment -Responsibility Description: Cleans and disinfects contaminated anesthesia machine, monitor, cables and other key medical equipment. Anesthesia Turnover and Stocking Anesthesia Techs may be required to stock Medications Kits/ Cassettes, trays or carts.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
