Job Description: As an HVAC Service Technician at Yadon Mechanical, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of HVAC systems, ensuring the highest level of performance and customer satisfaction. You will handle service calls, respond to emergency situations, and perform routine maintenance tasks. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, diagnose issues, and troubleshoot HVAC equipment, including heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
- Conduct repairs and replacements of defective parts or components in various HVAC systems.
- Install and commission new HVAC units and ensure they are functioning correctly.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to extend the life and efficiency of HVAC systems.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
- Complete service reports accurately and maintain records of all performed work.
- Keep up to date with the latest industry advancements and technical knowledge.
- Comply with safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent. HVAC certification or relevant technical degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician with a minimum of 1 year in the field.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various HVAC systems, including but not limited to furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical and refrigeration systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional overtime.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
